The price
Nvidia has set a recommended price of 1,949 euros for the RTX 4090. You may be able to get graphics cards for a much higher price from some dealers, because it is not only the poor availability that causes the prices to skyrocket.
The new high-end graphics card has also attracted some scalpers, who are now selling their models for 4,500 euros and more. This is well above the recommended price and you have no guarantee that you will actually receive the graphics cards after payment.
