The Pilatushaus (left) is one of the most beautiful, largest and most spectacular half-timbered houses in Nuremberg. The old town friends are renovating it.

The “Old Town Friends” are seen as belligerent and conservative, but they are not undisputed. But they have also achieved impressive things. The latest project is spectacular.

The importance of the Nuremberg Old Town Friends for Bavaria? Can be attached easily. Without them there would simply not be a current investigative committee in the state parliament. Because without the friends of the old town, the first referendum in a large Bavarian city would not have taken place in 1996.
