The Nuremberg Museum of the Future, whose creation and leasing is the concern of an investigative committee in the state parliament, did not have to meet any special procurement law requirements – and thus the parent company Deutsches Museum and the Free State did not violate procurement law when they signed the expensive lease with the Nuremberg real estate investor Gerd Smelter completed.
