Nuremberg: Brutal argument between young people – 13-year-old undergoes emergency surgery – Bavaria

One of the two was seriously injured in a violent altercation between two 13-year-olds in Nuremberg. After the argument on Tuesday, the teenager had to be treated in a hospital with stab wounds to his upper body, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.

According to the investigation so far, the two young people met in a parking lot that evening to resolve a long-standing argument. Two other people are said to have been there. During the course of the argument, the suspect is said to have inflicted the stab wounds on his opponent. The police initially did not provide any information about the murder weapon. The suspect is then said to have run away.

According to the spokesman, the injured 13-year-old went to a nearby hotel with another person involved and called the police there. Several police patrols rushed to the scene. A police officer provided first aid on site. The boy underwent emergency surgery in the hospital in the evening and, as things stand, his life is not in danger.

The suspect was found at his home address later in the evening. Since he is not of legal age due to his age, he remained at large. According to the information, the police informed the youth welfare office about the incident and started investigating the background to the crime. Children under 14 are not of criminal responsibility in Germany. This means they will not be prosecuted.
