The proportion of low-paid work among jobs in Bavaria has fallen. In April 2023, there were around one million jobs in the Free State with an hourly wage of less than 13.04 euros gross. The Bavarian State Office for Statistics announced this on Thursday in Fürth. The number of low-paying jobs fell by 124,000 compared to the previous year, a decline from 17 to 15 percent. In addition, the gap between low and high earners in Bavaria has decreased, it was said. Accordingly, high earners earned 3.o7 times as much gross as low earners in April 2023. In April 2022 the value was still 3.33.
