  • North Rhine-Westphalia has voted. According to projections, the CDU with incumbent Wüst (about 35 percent) is well ahead of the SPD with challenger Kuchaty (about 27 percent).
  • The Greens, with top candidate Mona Neubaur, have improved significantly to around 18 percent.
  • FDP and AfD stabilize at a good five percent.
  • Possible alliances are black-green, a traffic light or a grand coalition. It would not be enough for red-green at the moment.
