The 31-year-old, who is said to have stabbed three people and run over three others with a truck in Nottingham, has been charged with triple murder. The man must appear before the examining magistrate on Saturday.

The suspect has been charged with three counts of murder and attempted murder after the Nottingham massacre. This was announced by the police in the central English city. He is scheduled to appear before a coroner this Saturday.

“These charges represent a significant development and are the result of our thorough investigation into these horrific incidents that have taken place in our town,” said Chief Constable Kate Meynell of Nottinghamshire Police. She also warned against speculation about the crime, the background to which is still unclear.

vigils and commemorations

According to the investigation, the alleged perpetrator attacked and stabbed two 19-year-old students on their way home from a party early in the morning. He then killed a 65-year-old man and stole his vehicle, which he then used to run over three people at a bus stop.

One victim was life-threatening, the other two slightly injured. Eventually, the police managed to arrest the man. In the past few days, thousands of people have taken part in vigils and commemorations.
