It’s Monday, May 22nd and at 00:28 we noticed that Instagram is (once again) having problems. When trying to access Instagram via the web browser, only a white page is displayed. Everything indicates that Instagram has glitches.
Instagram is offline: app and website are unavailable
When you open the Instagram app on your smartphone, the following message appears at the bottom of the screen: “Feed could not be reloaded” or “Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later”. And even if you try to access your profile via the Instagram app, no photos will be displayed and the number of followers and the number of profiles you are following will not be displayed correctly or at all.
The “AlleStörungen” portal also received almost 30,000 reports. Instagram does not seem to work for many users across Germany. It is not yet known whether Instagram is only unavailable in Germany or whether it may even be disrupted worldwide.
However, we are certain that the relevant teams are already working on a solution and that Instagram should be up and running again as usual within the next few hours.
Update at 00:46: Instagram is still down and looking at Twitter users around the world seem to be having the same problem right now.
Last update at 01:35: Everything is back to normal for us. The Instagram glitch seems to have been fixed!
