Notary’s office in the old town: jewelry worth 95,000 euros stolen – Munich

A break-in at a notary’s office in the old town on Wednesday night was responsible for an exceptionally high amount of damage: the notary had temporarily stored jewelry from his private property there, which the thieves took along with cash. The value of the loot is around 95,000 euros.

A cleaning worker noticed the break-in at around 2:30 a.m. – the front door was broken open and the rooms were ransacked. The police are now looking for witnesses who made observations in the area between Theatinerstrasse and Salvatorstrasse during the specified period.
