Input Output, the creator of Cardano, has confirmed that the anticipated upgrade to Vasil will take place on September 22, with the company announcing the official date after “detailed testing” of all core components.

The Vasil upgrade was originally supposed to happen in June. But it was postponed several times due to various technical issues.
Input Output emphasizes that the Vasil hard fork is an upgrade that “most important” until now This will greatly increase the network capacity. And Cardano developers will be able to build more sophisticated decentralized applications.
