Julia Roberts, 56, US actress, almost didn’t appear in “Notting Hill”. Playing a Hollywood actress in it was “one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do,” she told “Notting Hill” screenwriter Richard Curtis in an interview with the British Vogue. “I felt so uncomfortable!” In the 1999 romantic comedy, Roberts plays a well-known actress who falls in love with a bookstore owner played by Hugh Grant. “I mean, we talked about it so many times, but I almost didn’t take the role because she was just – she was just so unpleasant,” Roberts told Curtis. “I didn’t even know how to play this person.” Because she, in her own words, “loathed” the clothing for her movie star role, Roberts wore her own clothes in the iconic scene in which her character explains to the book salesman that she is “just a girl.” To do this, she sent her driver back to her apartment that morning.

Christian Streich, 58, football and life teacher, sends his players to the children’s room. The SC Freiburg coach explained in a press conference why the team did not go to the training camp in Andalusia as usual this winter. One of the reasons is that the players were traveling a lot because of their participation in the Europa League. “We now have quite a few with small and very small children. The women are also happy when the boys are at home and can look after the children too.” Positive side effect of staying at home for Streich: “I enjoy the German winter. (…) I like having four seasons.”
