In the Caribbean, a cruise ship operated by Norwegian Cruise Line is making headlines. As it became known on Monday, the huge floating hotel in the Caribbean ran aground.

The crusader, on which around 3,000 travelers are being cared for by around 1,600 crew members, was stuck in front of the Dominican Republic, as the AFP news agency reported early Tuesday morning.

The ship ran aground because of “strong winds” on the north coast of the Caribbean state, the agency quoted local navy chief Ramón Betances Hernández as saying.
