The written Abitur exams in NRW will be postponed by two days to Friday. That was decided on Tuesday evening by the NRW Ministry of Education.
Actually, the written Abitur exams for thousands of schoolchildren should begin on Wednesday in North Rhine-Westphalia. But nothing will come of it. The Ministry of Education has postponed the start of the Abi exams by two days to Friday. The reason is a “massive technical problem”.

Sharp criticism from the ranks of the SPD
Criticism came from the school policy spokesman of the SPD, Dilek Engin. She spoke of a “relapse into old times”. How you, as a school minister, “can switch to mute for so long in such a situation” is a mystery to her. “This is really catastrophic communication behavior on the part of Ms. Feller,” says Engin. The teachers and high school graduates, especially the students of the Muslim faith, who celebrate the Sugar Festival on Friday, would now have to pay for this.
