North of Munich: Shooting among young people in the Euro-Industrial Park – Munich

There was a shootout with blank guns in the Euro Industrial Park on Sunday evening. Police have arrested five suspects between the ages of 15 and 21. Commissariat 23, which is responsible for youth violence, is investigating, among other things, dangerous bodily harm, threats and violations of the weapons law. The background is still unclear.

According to initial findings, two groups of people met in the parking lot of a supermarket shortly before 9 p.m. For unknown reasons, an argument broke out and shots were fired. A person fled into a nearby fast food restaurant, pursued by two men, one of whom had a pistol in his hand. The guests present then fled the restaurant, and the three men also quickly left, and shots were fired again. The two pursuers then sped away in a Mercedes, but were soon caught in a dead end by alert police patrols.

There were a total of five people in the car, the 19-year-old driver from the Fürstenfeldbruck district and four Munich residents between the ages of 15 and 21. The officers seized a baseball bat and a blank gun that could be attributed to the 19-year-old. They later found two bullet casings and other weapons in the parking lot.

The 15-year-old and two 17-year-olds are already known to the police for bodily harm, robbery and theft; the two older vehicle occupants appeared for the first time. Nothing is yet known about the members of the second group. There was a stabbing in almost the same place a year ago, in which a 16-year-old was injured in the kidney.
