Nordahl Lelandais’ brother tried for harassing the little girl’s cousin



Three months in prison were required against Sven Lelandais, tried Thursday before the Bourgoin-Jallieu Criminal Court (Isère). Nordahl Lelandais ‘brother was prosecuted for harassing Maëlys’ cousin, we learn in The Dauphiné Libéré.

In March 2020, the defendant meets the young woman in a supermarket in Pont-de-Beauvoisin where she worked as a cashier. The latter sends him “for a walk”, refusing to serve him. Vexed, Sven Lelandais made in the wake of research on her, discovering at the same time her family link with the little girl, he justified himself in court. He began to send her messages “without politeness” on social networks and under a pseudonym.

Harassed since 2017

The young woman, however, contradicted his version of the facts, ensuring that he knew his identity perfectly and recalling being the recipient of “threatening and provocative messages” since 2017 (the year during which Maëlys was killed). The judgment will be rendered on October 18.

Nordahl Lelandais will be tried from January 31 to February 11 before the Assizes of Isère for the murder of Maëlys.
