Unfortunately just a dream: Jule Christiansen’s night of love with Hauke Jacobs

This has never happened in 23 episodes of “Nord bei Nordwest”: Hauke Jacobs ended up in bed with Jule Christiansen. But what exactly does this episode reveal about the bachelor’s desire?
Many fans of “Nord bei” responded to this Northwest” has been waiting for a long time: Veterinarian Jule Christiansen (Marleen Lohse) finally spends a night of love with Hauke Jacobs (Hinnerk Schönemann), who she has long been in love with. The monologue that precedes this unexpected outburst of eroticism in the crime thriller is one of the most emotional things this series has produced so far.
Of all people, Jacobs, who is otherwise so awkward in his feelings, completely reveals his inner life for a moment: “The truth is that I don’t want to die, not before I’ve told you what I should have told you much earlier: That’s not just that “The sea is bluer with you, but also the sky,” he admits to his colleague. “And that sometimes, quite often in fact, I fall asleep with your smile and then feel quite dejected when you’re not lying next to me. And the truth is that I love you.”
But, wait: it’s not the vet at all, but the police officer Jule Christiansen who is having fun in bed with the blonde bachelor. The whole scene takes place in a parallel universe. In reality, Jacobs is in a coma and struggling with death.
“Nord bei Nordwest”: Who does Hauke Jacobs want?
So is the erotic scene an expression of the bachelor’s hidden desires? And if so, what exactly does that say about his wishes? Anyone who had hoped that this episode would provide an answer to the ever-hanging question of who Hauke Jacobs’ heart belongs to was put off once again. Because this sequence, which takes place in an in-between world, wasn’t that clear: Jacobs did spend the night with Jule Christiansen, that can be said clearly. But it is also clear: he shared the bed with his colleague from the police station. And in the reality of “Nord bei Nordwest” her name is Hannah Wagner (Jana Klinge).
The question of who the police officer and veterinarian played by Hinnerk Schönemann now wants will remain unanswered.
