The viewers just can’t get enough of the crime series: “Nord bei Nordwest” regularly tunes in to millions of viewers as a repeat. ARD repeats a case from 2020 on Saturday evening – with a sad farewell.
8:15 p.m., The First, North by Northwest: On our own behalf, crime thriller
After a red-haired woman is found lifeless in the sea, detective Lona Vogt (Henny Reents) comes across the killer in the dead woman’s apartment. She dies in a desperate fight. A shock for all of Schwanitz, especially for Hauke (Hinnerk Schönemann), the veterinary assistant Jule (Marleen Lohse) and Lona’s father (Peter Prager). Commissioner Sarah Winter (Anja Schneider) from Kiel joins the investigation. She suspects that the dead woman on the beach and Lona are victims of a serial killer she’s been trying to track down for years.

Three unsuspecting moderators without a plan, who face new game and quiz rounds with an uncertain outcome: Barbara Schöneberger, Thomas Gottschalk and Günther Jauch dance again on the volcano in three new Saturday evening primetime shows and give everything. They compete against singer Sasha and actor Ralf Moeller this Saturday.
8:15 p.m., ZDF, the big Germany quiz, quiz show
Eight celebrities play for a good cause. In quiz duels, they face quick multiple-choice questions and knowledge games in different categories and show who knows our country best. It’s about impressive natural landscapes, culture and lifestyle, German personalities, significant events, sights and regional peculiarities. In the final, one candidate per team plays for 50,000 euros.
8:15 p.m., VOX, 22 Jump Street, action comedy
A new designer drug is making the rounds at college and has already claimed its first fatality. Cops Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) go undercover. But they are also beginning to indulge in different lures of college life.
8:15 p.m., Sat.1, Hunters of the Lost Ark, action adventure
In 1936, the adventurous archeology professor Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) was commissioned to search for the lost Ark of the Covenant with Moses’ Tablets of the Ten Commandments in Egypt before the Nazis got their hands on it. Together with his ex-girlfriend Marion (Karen Allen) he tracks down the ark. But the Germans under Major Arnold Toht (Ronald Lacey) and Indy’s archrival, the ruthless Dr. Belloq (Paul Freeman), are on the verge of discovery. On top of that, they kidnap Marion.
