Non-fiction book for children: “When will there finally be peace” – culture

When the psychologist Elisabeth Raffauf started working on the children’s non-fiction book “When Will Peace Finally Be?” began, it did so against the background of the Russian attack on Ukraine, the renewed seizure of power by the Taliban in Afghanistan, and the refugee movements that the war in Syria had triggered. Children from all three countries interviewed by Raffauf appear on almost every page of the book, talking about their fears, their hopes, and what it was like when suddenly everything was different: because the war had started.
