Nockherberg 2024: Strong TV ratings – so many saw the politician derblecken – Munich

The live broadcast of the strong beer tasting on the Nockherberg attracted significantly more viewers on Bavarian television than last year. According to the broadcaster, 2.6 million people tuned in – 700,000 more than in 2023. 1.8 million viewers came from Bavaria, meaning the market share in the target group of 14 to 49 year olds was almost a third (28.1 Percent).

The three-hour broadcast of the ceremonial speech and singspiel is traditionally one of the station’s highest ratings. In recent years it has only been surpassed by Carnival in Franconia. This year there were 3.8 million viewers.

At 2.6 million, the Nockherberg quota is approaching the pre-Corona values. In 2019, 2.7 million viewers were registered. After the Corona break in 2020, fewer than two million people tuned in to the purely digital Lenten sermon in 2021 (1.9). In 2022 the spectacle was canceled due to the war in Ukraine.
