Of course he also joked about his own death, just as it made fun of everything and everyone, and giggled thievingly. So after his death, Tutu said in 2010, he knocked on the gate of heaven and was turned away. “You have to go to a warmer place,” Peter told him. So he goes to a place that is a little warmer and days later the devil knocks on the gate of heaven: What are you doing here? Asks the astonished Peter. “He’s been causing too much trouble since you sent Tutu! I’m here to apply for political asylum.”
