The “Arche Noah” daycare center in Kasendorf, Upper Franconia is one of the five best daycare centers in Germany. Arche Noah leader Susanne Noë and her team took second place with their concept at the German Kita Prize in 2023, received 10,000 euros in prize money and the magazine’s special prize Parents. 36 crèche and 110 kindergarten children attend the daycare center in the Kulmbach district; the older ones go to the associated after-school care center after primary school.
