Sunday, in the middle of the afternoon, firefighters and gendarmes intervened for a traffic accident that occurred in the town of Santes, in the North. The balance sheet shows 9 injured.
The accident occurred shortly before 4 p.m., rue du Maréchal Foch, in Santes, under conditions which remain to be determined and which are under investigation. According to the gendarmes, the two vehicles collided head-on. The violence of the shock also threw one of the vehicles on the roof.
Significant relief resources were dispatched to the site. A total of nine people were injured. Four, seriously affected, were taken care of on site before their emergency transport to hospital. Five other victims more lightly affected are also to be deplored.
