Anyone who has ever been to Brooklyn Beckham’s Instagram account will quickly notice that the boy is in love. Almost every second Instagram post is a declaration of love to his fiancée, actress Nicola Peltz. Several love tattoos already adorn his body. But who is the woman who really turned the eldest of the Beckham children’s heads?
Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz are getting married
The 27-year-old is the daughter of Claudia and Nelson Peltz. She is a model, he is a former truck driver who has built up billions for himself. The two have been married for 35 years now, for him it is the third marriage. According to the Daily Mail, the Peltz’s live in a 27-bedroom mansion with an ice hockey rink and a flock of albino peacocks. Beckham and the youngest Peltz are said to be planning to tie the knot at the family’s Palm Beach estate.
Patriarch Nelson Peltz was born into a New York family as one of ten children. In 1962 he dropped out of the renowned Wharton School, the business school that Donald Trump also attended. He actually wanted to earn his living as a ski instructor, but things turned out differently. Instead, Peltz worked as a delivery truck driver for his family’s frozen food business, reportedly making just $100 a week. He managed to expand the company and make it successful, which led him to his next career station.
Nelson Peltz was a Trump supporter
In the 1980s, he bought a stake in Triangle Industries, a company that makes vending machines, among other things. A few years later, Triangle Industries was sold, bringing Peltz around $840 million, according to the Daily Mail. The investor and entrepreneur was close friends with ex-President Donald Trump for years. In Florida, the two neighbors are Peltz, who often publicly supported Trump. “In my opinion, his policy is the right policy for America,” he once said of Trump. In an interview with CNBC, after the attack on the US Capitol in 2021, Peltz expressed his regret for having supported Trump so much.
Together with his wife Claudia, Nelson Peltz founded the “Nelson and Claudia Peltz Family Foundation”, their assets are now estimated at 1.6 billion dollars. Almost all of Nicola Peltz’s siblings are also successful. 36-year-old Matthew Peltz joined his father’s company, while Will Peltz earned his living as an actor and Brad Peltz was a professional ice hockey player. Sister Brittany is a successful figure skater, Diesel Peltz is an app founder and the twins Zachary and Gregory are known for their extravagant lifestyle.
If the Beckhams are already considered celebrity royalty in Great Britain – after all, they have been to royal weddings – compared to the Peltz clan they almost look like the normal people from the suburbs. It was recently announced that Brooklyn Beckham has already signed a prenuptial agreement.
