The days before the summer break are long. Parties and receptions fill the diaries in the last few weeks of the Bundestag session, representatives of the federal states invite ministries, parliamentary groups. And of course, many media will also be honored. Some ask in the confines of their editorial offices, others chill in the balmy summer air on their doorstep, and still others rent trendy Berlin restaurants.
