The Orlando Magic have bounced back from the end of their winning streak, beating the Houston Rockets two days after a narrow loss in Atlanta.

Led by basketball national player Franz Wagner, who scored 25 points, the Magic got a 116:110 and worked their way back into the game after being 15 points behind in the second half. Moritz Wagner had twelve points and seven rebounds. It was the team’s seventh win in the past eight games.

The series of the New York Knicks around the German Isaiah Hartenstein, on the other hand, is torn. After the last eight wins against the Toronto Raptors there was a 106:113, no team had such a good run before the loss as the Knicks. Pascal Siakam had a strong 52 points for the Raptors, more than ever before in his career.

The team with the longest current winning streak is now succeeded by the Brooklyn Nets, who gave the defending champions Golden State Warriors no chance. At 143:113, the Nets had already scored 91 points in the first half. That was the third most points by a team in one half in league history.

National team captain Dennis Schröder had another good evening for the Los Angeles Lakers after his 30 points in the defeat against the Phoenix Suns, but was unable to prevent the record champions’ 18th defeat of the season. In the 120:134 against the Sacramento Kings, Schröder scored 18 points. The best pitcher for the Lakers, who had to do without Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook and Austin Reaves, was LeBron James with 34 points.
