St. Brown with a touchdown in the Detroit Lions’ third win

The NFC North was the division of the Green Bay Packers for a long time. With a win at Lambeau Field, the Detroit Lions underline their claim to change that. A German’s cheering causes trouble.
The Lions won 34:20 against the Green Bay Packers and took the lead in the NFC North. St. Brown scored the first touchdown of the game at Green Bay’s legendary Lambeau Field, the 23-year-old’s second of the season. Because a Packers fan threw beer over his helmet while celebrating, there was heavy criticism of the hosts on social networks. The man of the game was St. Brown’s teammate David Montgomery with three touchdowns as a running back.
“Made it difficult for them”
“We had a really good first half, we made it difficult for them. They came back a little bit, but I’m proud of how we overcame that resistance,” said strong Lions defender Aiden Hutchinson. “I grew up with Aaron Rodgers kicking our butts. He’s out of the division, but it’s good to be on the winning side.”
After years of dominance by the Packers in the division, the Lions strengthened their claim to qualify for the playoffs this season as winners of the NFC North. The Packers now have two wins and two defeats, their other competitors the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears have lost their first three games of the season and are already well behind.
The game started very badly for the guests from Detroit. Quarterback Jared Goff threw a bad pass on the first attack, the Packers turned the opportunity into a field goal and took a 3-0 lead. But then the Lions, who many experts rated as strong even before the start of the season, took control. St. Brown put his team in the lead and the score was 27-3 before halftime. Two touchdowns from the Packers, who are playing their first season since the departure of Aaron Rodgers and are now relying on Jordan Love as a playmaker, reduced the deficit to ten points. Montgomery’s third touchdown in the final quarter was the preliminary decision.
