After a period of rest at home in Brazil, where he notably attended a match of his training club Santos in the Copa Sudamericana, Neymar is back in Paris. The PSG striker, operated on his right ankle in early March after being injured against Lille in February, went to Camp des Loges on Thursday morning to have the orthopedic boot that immobilized his ankle removed in order to heal well.
“The exams are reassuring. The player will now continue his rehabilitation protocol in Paris,” the Parisian club said in a statement.
No return to training date has yet been announced. But, at best, we will see Neymar again among his teammates during the preparation for the next season, this summer. The time for him to take advantage of the pregnancy of his companion Bruna Biancardi, who revealed a few days ago the imminent arrival of a happy event in the family.
