Next scandal interview?: Prince Harry announced as a guest on the US show

On the occasion of the first Winter Invictus Games next year, Prince Harry (39) is currently in snowy Canada in the presence of his wife Meghan (42). In another way, the royal may soon find himself on very thin ice: How via the official X account of the US show “Good Morning America” was announced, Harry will be a guest on the show next Saturday morning and give an interview.

The focus here is also likely to be on the event in favor of disabled war veterans. According to the almost 15-second teaser, Prince Harry will also address topics that are likely to generate an echo from his British homeland: He will also talk “about his life today with Meghan and how his father, King Charles, is doing.”

Will the interview be interpreted as a new affront?

The latter point in particular will certainly not cause a storm of celebration in Great Britain. Since his cancer diagnosis earlier this month, King Charles III. (75) largely focused on staying out of the public eye and dedicating himself to his recovery. Harry’s short visit home recently not only brought joy but also showed that benevolent gestures should also be just as carefully considered.

In any case, the reasons why there is criticism of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan from various quarters are piling up again. Shortly before leaving for Canada, they launched their new website under the title “Sussex.com”. However, the fact that the couple continues to use their royal name has met with criticism from some aristocracy fans.

Another surprise was that the two also gave their children a new surname – and have done so since Charles’ coronation. The Times recently reported that Archie (4) and Lilibet (2) are no longer called Mountbatten-Windsor. Instead, the two now go by the name Sussex, like their parents.
