The police had to intervene on the night when a family New Year’s Eve had just turned sour, amid alcohol in the south of Toulouse. A woman was arrested.
With the holidays come excesses and… violence. This Christmas Eve was no exception to the rule. The gendarmes of the Villefranche-de-Lauragais company were particularly outraged and assaulted in Castanet by individuals who had drunk too much.
Sadly classic, unlike an intervention which was carried out around 5 a.m. near Auterive. This time the police were called upon to restore calm to a family evening which had just degenerated. Again too much alcohol and a 44 year old woman who must not have been happy with her husband’s behavior.
Headbutt and two broken teeth
And to better support her reproaches, this woman “delivered” a violent headbutt to her companion. Monsieur, stunned, left two teeth in the confrontation. Not enough to calm Madame who did not show her most pleasant profile when the men in uniform came to ask her questions.
She refused to take a breath to control her blood alcohol level and let out a few expletives in welcome. This lady from the Perpignan region ended her New Year’s Eve sobered up, then in police custody, in the premises of the Auterrive brigade.
An annoyance for her, but also for her family who absolutely wanted her to be present for the Christmas lunch, scheduled for this Monday noon. The prosecution did not share the invitation and kept the woman in police custody until she could clarify her motivations for her excessive nighttime violence.
