New writing residency at Monacensia – Munich

“What knowledge lies – undiscovered – within us? How do we approach taboos? Who is allowed to tell history?” Such questions will be the focus of the Monacensia’s next writing residency in the Hildebrandhaus, as the literary archive announces. The Munich author Annegret Liepold will deal with these topics and will offer various events and discussion opportunities between the end of May and October.

After Dana von Suffrin 2022 and the Turtle Magazin(e) collective 2023, Liepold is designing the third such residency in the Monacensia, in which the process of creative work is always in the foreground. Annegret Liepold, who has already received several awards for her novel projects, starts her residency on May 28th with an interactive reading and a collective writing attempt. The author sees the Monacensia as a “hybrid in the best sense of the word: I meet like-minded people here – both from the present and from the last 100 years.”
