Because new software will be installed in the district’s job center in the next few days, the authority can only work to a limited extent for a few days. The district is introducing a new specialist procedure for granting benefits and finding employment. For this purpose, the software previously used will be replaced. According to the District Office, the changeover has no direct effects on the payment of benefits, but the job center can only be reached to a limited extent by phone during the final migration and the necessary checking of the data records in the week from August 30th to September 3rd. Inquiries that cannot be postponed should preferably be sent by e-mail to [email protected] in order to ensure the fastest possible processing, as the district office asks.
The conversion of the software had become necessary because the previous provider canceled the specialized procedure used at the end of the year, according to the district office. The job center has been working intensively for a long time to make the transition as smooth as possible. During the past few months, the new software has already been implemented in-house and the migration of all data from the previous program to the new process has been advanced. The staff has already been trained and the final change to the new procedure will take place on August 27th.
