Klara Geywitz says it doesn’t bother her that her office is still so bare. An empty workplace, a few coffee mugs on the conference table, a lonely folder with a golden federal eagle on the shelf. “To be honest, I don’t like decorations,” says the building minister. From this point of view, the only picture in the room fits, a yellowish-white surface in front of a white wall, it may be three meters long: “First of all, I asked my employee whether it was a pin board or art. In any case, it doesn’t distract from my work.” , says Geywitz. That also fits well, because she has to create her own ministry first.
