There are only four episodes so far, but the third season of “Bridgerton” is already enjoying great success. Never before have more people tuned in.
Season three of “Bridgerton” has apparently become the most successful season of the popular Netflix series in terms of viewership. Since the streaming service has only released four episodes and the second part of the new episodes is still to come, season three could break more records.
45 million views for the new “Bridgerton” episodes
Fans of the TV show, which is inspired by the bestsellers by Julia Quinn (54) and follows the siblings of the Bridgerton family in search of love in London’s high society in the early 19th century, will be excited to see what happens in part two of the new season continues. The current episodes focus on Nicola Coughlan’s (37) character Penelope Featherington and her story with Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton, 31). Episode four ended with a cliffhanger.

While Colin Bridgerton returns from his big trip through Europe in the new episodes a changed man, Penelope Featherington wants to get married in order to escape her unloved sisters and especially her domineering mother Portia (Polly Walker, 58). But their efforts initially seem rather clumsy. Her childhood friend Colin Bridgerton wants to help and instructs her in the art of sophisticated flirting. With a little too much success…
