Brandon Lee’s sister criticizes security measures

Fatal accidents with firearms while filming are more common than expected. The reason for this is that mostly real weapons are used, which are only converted. The most famous accident of this kind happened in 1993 while filming “The Crow”. Brandon Lee, the son of actor Bruce Lee, was fatally injured by a gun because the remains of a real cartridge were unnoticed in the barrel.

His sister, Shannon Lee, has meanwhile also commented on the tragic accidental death of Hutchins and expressed her condolences to the relatives. She also criticizes the security measures during filming. She claims: “Nobody should ever be killed by a gun that is fired on a film set.”
