The new footpath and bike path between Gauting and Neuried along the M4 district road is already used by cyclists, but the path has not yet been cleared despite the heavy snowfall last week. Cyclists were sometimes out and about in ankle-high snow. That is about to change: the road has not yet been officially approved after the construction work has been completed, according to the district office. Because of the snowfall, this was not yet possible. The acceptance is planned for Thursday, after which the path will be integrated into the clearing service of the district.
