As a department head at the Munich tax office and head of the presidential office as well as press and public relations at the State Tax Office, you have already taken on managerial tasks. You are therefore well prepared for your new task in Ebersberg.” , congratulates Minister of Finance and Homeland Albert Füracker (CSU) in a press release from the senior government director, who is now the head of around 130 employees at the Ebersberg tax office. “Thank you very much for your excellent work in the Bavarian tax authorities and good luck for your new position,” said Füracker.

Verena Hegner, born in 1981, has been a member of the Bavarian Financial Administration since 2009. She began her professional career at the Würzburg tax office with an introduction to the tasks of the higher tax administration service. She then moved to the Munich tax office as a department head. As a result, her further career path led her to the Bavarian State Office for Taxes, where she initially took on the tasks of a consultant. Since 2016, she has headed the presidential office as well as press and public relations.
