Of course, if you want to review the new “Asterix” issue, you won’t simply get a copy in the mail, as publishers usually do – far too dangerous. Asterix is big business, the current album has a worldwide initial circulation of five million, of which 1.7 million are in Germany alone, probably the second largest Asterix nation after France. Which printed copy (except perhaps this one? pharmacy magazine) already has such a circulation that even most best-selling authors can only dream of?
