Henning Baum ventures into a new professional field. The actor looks behind the scenes of the fire department for an RTL documentary.

Henning Baum (51) leaves his comfort zone. For a new RTL report (also on RTL+), the actor gained insights into the world of firefighters. In “Operation for Henning Baum: 112 Inside Fire Brigade” he accompanies the Hamburg professional fire department on their missions and gets to know their everyday life. According to the press release, the station will show the report on May 16th at 8:15 p.m.

As part of the documentary, Baum visits, among other things, the Hamburg Fire Brigade Academy and accompanies his squad to a fire in an underground car park. In a conversation with Thuringia’s Interior Minister Georg Maier (56, SPD), he also wants to create more visibility for the grievances in the fire department. “They ensure our safety and even risk their lives in the process. For this they deserve our appreciation and respect,” the well-known TV commissioner is quoted in the report.

Already the fourth mission for Hennig Baum

Henning Baum is going into exceptional situations for the fourth time as part of an RTL report. The “The Last Bull” star had previously looked behind the scenes of the Bundeswehr, the emergency services and the Saxon police. At that time, he accompanied the officers on their real missions for 20 days.
