Beyoncé’s country album, released on March 29th, has many more surprises to offer in addition to a duet with Miley Cyrus.

US pop star Beyoncé (42) had already featured her new album “Cowboy Carter” in advance with a spectacular spot Super Bowl teased in February, the promising first two singles “Texas Hold ‘Em'” and “16 Carriages” were released at the same time. From March 29th, her fans will be able to enjoy all 27 tracks that she has collected on the brand new record.

One of the biggest surprises of this work is the duet “II Most Wanted”, a moody love ballad full of Wild West metaphors, sung together with Miley Cyrus (31).

Collaborations with numerous country legends

In addition to Miley Cyrus, Beyoncé also brought country legend Willie Nelson (90) into the studio for two songs for her album. She makes further references to the traditional country scene with an idiosyncratic cover of the super hit “Jolene” by Dolly Parton (78) and a joint number with the 82-year-old country pioneer Linda Martell.

Another interesting collaboration is the one produced together with the country-savvy rapper Post Malone (28). Song “Levii’s Jeans” in which the two saddle up a perfect mix of country and R’n’B.
