New album by Munich violinist Teresa Allgaier – Munich

The most exciting thing comes near the end. Under the title “Grandezza”, the Munich composer Sophia Jani has created a piece in which the spirit of the times, the past, accessibility and contradiction are reflected in a rare way. A glissando like an alarm, wailing upwards, trying out different top notes. It always falls back to a warm chord. It is an excitement that keeps crashing, but is supported by a harmonious basis. Teresa Allgaier plays it with a firm line and a warm tone. Certainly. Confident. Classy too.
