Neurodiversity at work: HR professionals have discovered a new target group – careers

HR professionals have discovered a new target group: Companies are courting people with neurological abnormalities such as autism, dyslexia, ADHD or high sensitivity.

Michael Kuhn has known that feeling for a long time. “All my life I’ve had the impression that I’m different,” he says. The computer scientist feels so uncomfortable in larger groups that he falls completely silent: “I pay close attention to body language, facial expressions and gestures of people. When I am with a lot of people, that is too much information for me.” To relax, Kuhn, who does not want to make his name public, likes to be alone.
