Neuried – The kick when helping – District of Munich

The footballers of TSV Neuried also proved their talent away from the football pitch: On a Sunday in August, the kickers of the first men’s team volunteered at a social day for the association “Aktion Pegasus”. For one day they helped the association with work on the farm in Baiernrain in the district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen. The association works for disadvantaged young people who have experienced violence, abuse or neglect, among other things, and supports them in getting back on their feet in life, including through therapeutic therapy with horses.

The 14 Neurieder footballers rolled up with the club bus for their charitable work. A wooden fence could be built together and a pond laid out, repair work was also carried out and the meadows of the club courtyard in Baiernrain were designed. The animals have also received a care unit, in addition to horses, chickens, rabbits and cats also live on the farm. “It was nice to see what great work the Pegasus campaign does every day. We are happy that we were able to make a contribution to the entire organization with our support,” said Alexander Greisel, a player in the first team.
