Neuried/Planegg – Double hit-and-run – District of Munich

The Planegger police were able to catch one of two drivers who have hit and run after an accident in the past few days, the other is still on the run. On Friday, around 6.30 p.m., an 81-year-old from Gräfelfinger drove his car in the Planegger district of Martinsried upside down into the roundabout at the intersection of Lochhamer and Lena-Christ-Straße and damaged a traffic sign when driving out. After that, he simply walked away from the scene of the accident. However, an attentive observer wrote down the license plate number of the vehicle and called the police. Police officers finally met the 81-year-old at home, he admitted the incident – he expects a criminal complaint.

On Saturday, the vehicle of a 61-year-old from Munich was damaged in an inner courtyard on Ammerseestraße in Neuried, it was probably hit between 4:00 p.m. The Planegg police (telephone: 089/89 92 50) or any other police station will take tips.
