Neukeferloh: Four choirs sing for refugees – district of Munich

Polyphony is not only important in democracy, but of course also in the world of vocal music. When four choirs perform at one concert, a multi-faceted sound experience is guaranteed. The concert “Sing fo(u)r aid!”, which the “Don Camillo Choir” and the ensemble “Nice Try a cappella” from Baldham, the choir “El Chorazón” from Haar and the Munich vocal ensemble “Singcronix” on Saturday, September 17, in the community center in Neukeferloh, but also serves a good cause. It starts at 8 p.m., admission is free, donations are collected that go to “Helping Hands for Ukraine”. The private initiative from Markt Schwaben has set itself the task of organizing help for people who are fleeing or have fled from the Ukraine.

“It will certainly be a beautiful and varied concert. And above all, we are very much looking forward to doing something good with it,” explains Signe Faber from the Don Camillo Choir, who was responsible for initiating the concert. So four choirs for a good cause: El Chorazon, founded 20 years ago by Nick Hogl in Haar, is best known for its rock and pop arrangements. The six-piece a cappella ensemble Singcronix combines pop songs with jazzy harmonies and Latino rhythms. Nice Try a cappella is also a vocal ensemble that feels at home in the world of jazz and swing. The renowned Don Camillo Choir is characterized by its jazz and pop arrangements.
