The DFB leadership is looking for a new national coach.

The new national coach should be found by the next international break in October. According to DFB boss Neuendorf, there has been no contact with candidate Nagelsmann so far.
Clear ideas on the T question, but no contact yet
A profile was created with several candidates, a longlist and a shortlist. “It has to be someone who is assertive, who is also robust and resilient. It’s a stressful time. We don’t have that much time left until the EURO,” said Neuendorf. He still didn’t name names. “First of all, it’s important that we are clear in which direction we want to go. And then the conversations will follow automatically.”
DFB search for national coach: No contact with Nagelsmann yet
DFB vice-president Hans-Joachim Watzke shook his head as to whether there had already been discussions with former Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann: “No. We’ll work out the profile first and then we’ll see.”
The DFB is looking for a successor after Hansi Flick was fired on Sunday. The association’s sports director was present at the 2-1 win in the international match against France
The new national coach should be installed by the national team’s trip to the USA in October. In addition to Nagelsmann, the Dutchman Louis van Gaal, the Austrian Oliver Glasner and Turkey’s German national coach Stefan Kuntz are currently considered promising candidates. (mt/sid)
