A 10-year-old was injured after falling from a moving school bus in Upper Bavaria. The fully occupied vehicle was driving through Neuburg an der Donau when the rear door suddenly opened, police said on Wednesday. The boy slipped and fell out of the bus. He injured his left arm in the accident on Tuesday morning and was taken to hospital.
Other school children raised the alarm and made the 60-year-old driver aware of the accident. An investigation is now underway as to why the bus door opened. The police initially ruled out a technical defect. Investigators are looking for witnesses to the accident.
