It didn’t last very long, but supporters of the Blues made themselves heard on Friday evening, during the match largely won by Kylian Mbappé’s teammates against the Netherlands (4-0), in the Euro 2024 qualifiers at Stade de France
These protests against the backdrop of a social movement against the pension reform and the government’s use of article 49.3 of the Constitution remained very partial but audible, taken up by fans from the platform where the group of official fans gathers, the “Irresistible Frenchmen”.
A call for this protest gesture had been shared on social networks before the match, in particular by the deputy (LFI) François Ruffin, who wanted to see “whistle[ée] the Macron retreat”, the day after the ninth day of national mobilization, which was very popular throughout the country.
