Netherlands – mask requirement reintroduced – travel

In view of the rapidly increasing numbers of infections and patients, the Netherlands are tightening the corona measures again. The mask requirement will be reintroduced for all publicly accessible places such as shops or hairdressers. The Corona pass will also be mandatory for more locations. Citizens should also maintain the safety distance of 1.5 meters again. Just over a month ago, the country lifted many measures and abolished the 1.5 meter rule. As a result, the number of infections rose rapidly. In the future, masks will have to be worn again in libraries, train stations, hospitals and universities. Around 20 percent of Dutch people over the age of twelve are not vaccinated.
