Kim Kardashian is actually better known from reality TV shows. Now she will play a leading role in a Netflix film for the first time.
TV star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian (43) has been accepted for a larger film role. She will star in and produce the comedy “The Fifth Wheel,” Netflix announced.
Kardashian will play the titular “fifth wheel” in the female comedy. The streaming service said that the rest of the content is under lock and key. “Saturday Night Live” author Paula Pell, who previously wrote the script for the sister comedy “Sisters” (2016), is responsible for the production and script.
According to Deadline.com, five streaming services and studios had tried to get the Kardashian project. In the end, the contract went to Netflix. Kardashian is known for the reality TV show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” Since September she has also been seen in a role in the US horror series “American Horror Story: Delicate”. She also helped as a voice actress in two “Paw Patrol” films.
