Working with your partner is not always easy. That’s why Matthias Schweighöfer and his girlfriend Ruby O. Fee have set clear rules for their first film together.

The actor couple Matthias Schweighöfer (40) and Ruby O. Fee (25) also found their first film together as a challenge.

“At first we were a little tense because we didn’t know what was happening. It was like an exam for us, ”said Fee of the German press agency. “We have learned a lot during that time and have grown together as a team.”

Schweighöfer stated that the two had made arrangements to deal with the situation better. “One rule was: When we get into the hotel room, we don’t talk about the day of shooting any more. That stays on the set. We did it well, I was really proud of us. “

The shooting of the crook comedy “Army Of Thieves”, which opens on Netflix on Friday, took place a year ago in Prague. The Czech capital was then a corona hotspot.

“During this time I was not allowed to go home to see the children because we were stuck in Prague for around five months, some of which were in quarantine. Nothing worked anymore », Schweighöfer recalled. He has a son and a daughter from his long-term relationship with his ex-girlfriend Ani Schromm. “If Ruby hadn’t been in the film, I wouldn’t have been able to see her either. So I was grateful that I had part of the family with me. That was really a difficult time in the autumn lockdown. “
